About Us
SLTA Objectives
- To promote and encourage the game of lawn tennis in Sarawak;
- To organise and regulate the annual lawn tennis championship of Sarawak;
- To organise and regulate the inter-division lawn tennis competition of Sarawak;
- To organise and regulate the national lawn tennis championship of Malaysia and/or the inter-state lawn tennis competition of the states of Malaysia under the auspices of the Lawn Tennis Association of Malaysia;
- To affiliate to the Lawn Tennis Association of Malaysia;
- To act as consultative body on all matters relating to lawn tennis in Sarawak;
- To nominate and appoint a competitor or competitors to take part in the national lawn tennis championship of Malaysia;
- To nominate and appoint a team to participate in the inter-state lawn tennis competition of Malaysia;
- To acquire and own landed property for the purpose of erecting a clubhouse and tennis courts; and
- Generally to advance the interests of the game of lawn tennis in Sarawak.
